Two Things that my Family has Taught me.

My family has taught me so many things over the years and I am very grateful for that. One of the biggest things my family has ever taught me is that just because someone doesn’t share your blood, doesn’t mean that they aren’t your family. My Grandpa is not related to me by blood but he has always been there for me and my family and I know he always will be. He is one of those people that would do anything for his family and for that I am so grateful because he is one of the best role models anyone could ever ask for. Another thing my family has taught me is that even though they might do something stupid, you still have to love them because they’re still there for you and always will be. My brother, as awful as he is, is always there for me and I know that. I feel like I got pretty lucky in the family department because even though they are all crazy and loud and destructive, I still love them.

Do You Think Men and Women are equal in Todays Society?

I think this topic is very debatable and the answer really depends on the person. In my opinion I think women and men are equal for the most part. I think the only way I would say we aren’t equal is when some people (not all) think that they are better because they are a different gender and a lot of people back them up on it, so I would say most of society treats everyone equal but there are always going to be a few exceptions. I believe that even though we all deserve to be equal, that doesn’t mean we should go to rallies and start all of these crazy marches to try and get more attention for one gender just because they think that they are entitled to it. I think by participating in all of these activities is just their own way of saying that women are now superior to men and I don’t believe that’s true. I think that we are all equal and people should just leave it that way, but it’s human nature to want to be the best and to want to beat the other team but I don’t think that should have anything to do with something that nobody can control.

How important is family approval?

I think it’s important for your family to at least like your significant other because if they don’t, family reunions and other holidays would be very awkward and more likely that propels won’t wnat to visit. On the other hand if your family doesn’t like him just for the fun of it then who cares? If you like this person it’s your life and what you think about them should matter most. Just remember that sometimes your family is right and they’re just trying to help you get rid of the bad people and all the negativity that comes with them.

Do you think arranged marriages would work in modern society?

I don’t think arranged marriages would work in modern society. I don’t think they  would work because people are so independent now and would rather be happy than to be married to someone just to benefit their family. If you try to arrange a marriage for your child now they would probably just turn 18 and get a divorce because it’s not what they initially wanted. Arranged marriages is kinda like arranging their future and for some people they could grow up and absolutely resent their family. These are the reasons I think that arranged marriages in our society wouldn’t work.

Do You Believe in Love at First Sight?

I don’t believe in love at first sight. I don’t believe because if you instantly loved someone the moment you met them then you would only love them based on how they look when their personality could be really terrible. You can’t ever really know you love someone without spending time with them and getting to know them as a person instead of just seeing how good they look. You can’t love someone without meeting them so if you think you love someone the moment you meet them then you might need to step back and think if you really like them or if you just like the way they look.

Seven Commandments

The seven commandments that the animals live by are:

  • Whatever goes upon two legs is an enemy.
  • Whatever goes upon four legs, or has wings, is a friend.
  • No animal shall wear clothes.
  • No animal shall sleep in a bed.
  • No animal shall drink alcohol.
  • No animal shall kill any other animal.
  • All animals are equal.

I don’t think these are good rules for the animals to live by because if they believe everything that walks on two legs is an enemy then they will never never get food or be able to live comfortably. Also there’s really no point in living by most of these rules because they are slowly changing them all anyway to fit the lifestyle they want to live.

I think in the future the animals will change every one of the commandments so that they can do whatever they want without having a guilty conscience.

How do you Communicate with Friends and Family?

I typically call or text my family and friends on my phone if I need to talk to them or tell them something small but if it’s something important I will absolutely make time to go and tell them in person because some things I think should be told in person and not off of a device. In the past I think people would’ve just went to see their friends and family to talk to them because they didn’t have or even want phones like most people do today. Today there are so many ways to talk to people through a device that even texting is starting to fade away, a lot of people I know just text or call through snapchat, messenger, or Instagram and I don’t think that’s really safe because it’s not just the people in your contacts that can text you.

Would You Rather #8

I would rather be married to a 6 with an amazing personality instead of a 10 with a bad personality because I don’t think looks matter that much. Even if looks did matter it’s a 6, it’s not like they would look awful. 6 is probably above average really and with a good personality I think that would be perfect. I would absolutely hate to marry someone with a bad personality even if they are a 10. Yeah they would be nice to look at but you’re the one who would have to listen to them and deal with their awful personality so yeah I would definitely take a 6 with an amazing personality over a 10 with an awful personality any day.
